  • The Internet of Things (IoT) is generating a lot of buzz as it transforms our lives. Even if we don't always see it or realize that a device is part of the IoT, it's everywhere.

These are some interesting uses of the internet of things in daily life -

    • Smart Higher Education
    • Smart Transportation and Logistics
    • Smart Healthcare
    • Smart Retail
    • Smart Manufacturing
    • Agriculture
    • Finance
    • Real Estate
    • Travel
    • Wellness & Fitness

Wearable fitness trackers (like Fitbits) and IoT healthcare applications, voice assistants (Siri and Alexa), smart cars (Tesla), and smart appliances are all instances of IoT in action (iRobot). With the fast adoption of IoT, getting into contact with various IoT devices on a daily basis will soon be inescapable.

  • Like it or not—understand it or not—the internet of things, also known as IoT, has effectively changed our everyday lives in recent years to the point that even non-technologically inclined people have begun to buy into the ease, comfort, and useful perspectives that it provides. You probably already know how useful IoT is in your daily life, thanks to connected home hubs, smart thermostats, remote door locks, and a variety of app-controlled appliances.

The use of IoT in our everyday lives is also increasing.
The reality is that the Internet of Things is becoming increasingly important, both for industrial and everyday use. It is improving our lives in a variety of ways and will most likely continue to do so. It's not about solving problems we know we have; it's also solving problems we didn't even realize we had until the answer came out of nowhere.

The internet of things (IoT) refers to everyday objects that link to the internet, allowing us to control or receive data from them through our smartphones or other devices. The following are some examples of how we use IoT in our daily life,

    • Smart home appliances
    • Smart security systems, smart locks, and smart doorbells
    • Smart home hubs
    • Smart assistance
    • Fitness tracker, sleep tracker, and smart scales
    • Wearables, etc.

IoT not only lets us work better, live smarter, and gain complete control of our lives, but it also contributes to our overall well-being.

In addition to our smart home gadgets, IoT is an important technology in business and industry because it allows companies to see through the inner workings of their processes in real-time. IoT provides insights into everything from system efficiency to supply chain and distribution processes from the factory floor to the customer's door.

The aim of IoT devices and wearables in sports would be to improve performance reliability. You'll be able to keep track of your success, mistakes, power, stamina, cardiovascular fitness level, and every other variable you can think of. Sensors can be used in a variety of sports, including cycling, tennis, and football, and they will.

    • There has been a new development in the IoT space. With the emergence of cloud technology, IoT has become more and more flexible.

The fundamental concept behind IoT and Cloud computing is to improve performance in day-to-day tasks without compromising the quality of data processed or transferred. Since the relationship is reciprocal, both services efficiently complement each other. The Internet of Things becomes the center of data, with the three cloud service models serving as the ultimate storage location.

As the years past, we will witness numerous changes; some of these changes will be incremental, while others will be more rapid. Amazon AWS, Google, and Microsoft will emerge as undisputed pioneers in Cloud IoT Services, making the task all the more worthwhile.

As the Cloud continues to gain traction, a growing number of Cloud service providers are starting to provide pay-per-use models to companies. Businesses would just have to pay for the computing equipment they use in this manner.

  • Hello, IoT have become a part of our lives and it is impacting in every sector

    IoT In Our Home

IoT has affected our day to day life, I can give an example of Smart alarm clocks which automatically adjusts the timings depending upon the weather conditions, there are few other devices too like smart microwave, smart lights which can be turned off using voice, There are other devices too like water level indicators, smoke alarms, refrigerators, irrigation etc.

    IoT in industries

IoT Tools and technologies have drastically reduced the human intervention in industries and the work easy, As the devices are becoming smart, they are capable of analyzing the situation and making the decision in the real-time, Industries such as Electrical Distribution, Maintenance, Surveillance, Emergency Services, and Waste Management have all been avidly using the Internet of Things to pace with the changing technological trends.

  • For personal health, the possibilities are even more extensive. 3d-printed wristbands for reading vital signs are already in development. With the long list of wearables already in circulation, we can track even more: sleeping patterns, nutritional balance, GP visits and check-up schedules, exercise programmes, etc.

  • First, off it's a bi9t unfair to compare it to the industrial revolution. Just due to the time frame. IoT is still a relatively young technology.
However, with that being said, there is pretty much an endless potential in it. It might not be a part of our everyday lives, since it's still used more on an industrial level of operation, but it's getting there with things like smart parking sensors and entire city-wide IoT networks.
